Walk & Talk
Do you prefer moving to sitting? Prefer being out in nature? Then ask me about a “Walk and Talk” counselling session. A ‘Walk and Talk’ session will work on your mind and body together.
You can select a location, or I can make some suggestions.
Walk and Talks are usually around a lake, park or through a suburb. We can work around the weather, and your fitness and physical ability. Contact me to discuss in more detail.

Grief Counselling
Grief counselling and bereavement support is about having assistance to get your life on track in a gentle way. About learning to cope in this new world, without the person you love here (and finding ways to honour them). You may need assistance to cope with all the stressors that come with dealing with an estate or with changing family dynamics or with negotiating life without the person you’ve always relied upon.
You may have people around you, attempting to support you, but they are also grieving – and you don’t want to burden them. It can really help to see someone separate from it all, who can just support you, who you can speak to, about all of the things that can come up along the way.
You may find you have limited or no support. Many people say they want to get to a point. Most people want to get to a point where they can feel they are coping and feel they are stronger and better able to manage in this new environment.
I try to make our appointments as relaxed and non-intimidating as possible, so you can ask any questions. It’s also ok to not know why you are coming in – you may just know you want some help.
No waitlist – Have your first appointment within a few days of contacting me.

General Counselling
Family dynamics, the pressures of work or school, overwhelm, major transitions or health issues – there are many reasons why you may want someone to talk to. Perhaps you or someone you care for has been struggling with an emotional or mental health issue (e.g. depression, anxiety, excessive stress, or trauma) that is preventing you or them from living a healthy happy meaningful life.
Therapy sessions with me are warm, practical, and focused on what matters most to you. Whether you need short-term support or ongoing guidance, I’m here to listen and help.

Cancer Support Counselling
A cancer diagnosis can turn life upside down. It affects not only the person diagnosed but also their loved ones. Whether you’re dealing with the shock of a new diagnosis, the uncertainty of treatment, or the emotional impact of survivorship, counselling can help.
For individuals with cancer
Navigate the emotional challenges of treatment, changes in identity, and fears about the future. Returning to life after cancer can be a particularly surprising struggle as people feel changed by the experience and that can be hard to verbalise to those who haven’t faced their own mortality.
For partners and family members
Process your own emotions while supporting a loved one. Caring for a loved one can be rewarding, but it can also be exhausting, isolating, and emotionally overwhelming.
Many carers put their own needs last, leading to burnout and distress. My job is to support you while you support others and provide a place for you to share your thoughts and feelings.
For those facing end-of-life
It can be a challenge to find people able to sit and hear you talk about fears, hopes, and what matters most. Sometimes you may not want to burden loved ones with this stuff and you may also have private concerns that are trickier to express. All of these are worth expressing and taking time to work through as you come to terms with what this all means to you.
Many people have spoken to me about their fears about feeling pain (and not being able to speak) towards the end and also about what might lie beyond. All of these are worth expressing and taking time to work through as you come to terms with what this all means to you
I have a deep passion for working with people with cancer, particularly those in palliative care. My approach is warm, practical, and focused on what you need most right now.

I am registered with Cancer Council WA to provide free therapy sessions – Please contact me to find out more about this.
